After years of requests for affordable household objects, Thomas has launched this store to share smaller pieces with friends and fans. The products featured here are best understood as limited-edition, hand-made works of art. Even when you purchase a piece in a series, it is built by hand by Thomas is his East Bay studio. This store is also a source for samples, prototypes, and experiments that are taking up too much space in the shop and need to find new homes! Shipping information:
We will process your order as soon as possible. Because we are a small shop and Thomas is sometimes writing a column or doing an installation, please give us up to 3 days to process your order. All orders ship via UPS Ground.
Refunds, returns, and cancellations:
Please keep in mind that all items sold here -- from the smallest lightboxes to the largest storage cabinets -- are handmade, original pieces. While we make every effort to accurately represent these works on our Web site, minor variations in styling and detail are to be expected (and celebrated!). Some products are produced in limited runs based on quantities of materials on hand, as in the case of our creative reuse products.
If you are not fully satisfied with any piece of artwork or furniture purchased here, you may return the item (in its original packaging, with all tags, labels, and inserts intact) within 30 days of your receipt of the merchandise for a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping fees. The only exception is that we do not replace light bulbs damaged in transit. (Not that we expect that to happen. UPS is usually great about handling our products, but if breakage does occur, we will recommend a replacement bulb that you can purchase at your local home supply store instead of repackaging and shipping the whole product back to our store.)
If you decide to send something back, please note that you will be responsible for shipping the returned item back to us. This helps us keep margins low so you can have cool handmade products to enjoy in your home! To initiate a return, please email us at thomaswoldstore@yahoo.com.
